Tutorial - Sandwich biscuits

Sandwich biscuits - gotta love them! They're great for dunking into coffee or tea :)

Felt play food - Biscuits

Here's how to make a peanut butter sandwich cookie! All you need is:

1. A pair of embroidery scissors for precision cutting.
2. A sewing needle and two shades of brown sewing thread.
3. Two shades of brown felt in "golden" and "peanut butter".

Step 1: To make the “biscuit”, cut out 4 circles from golden brown felt (diameter 4.3 cm). Sew two pieces together (I recommend using a blanket stitch) to make the top and bottom half.

Step 2: To make the “holes” in the biscuit, sew seven X's on the cookie. Be sure to pull the thread tight each time you make an "X" to get that tufted look.

Step 3: Cut out 1 circle from "peanut butter" brown felt (diameter 4.3 cm) and sandwich it between your top and bottom biscuits. Sew the pieces together through the holes on the bottom and top (or you could just use hot glue).

You can also make rectangular and square sandwich biscuits using the same technique, give it a try!
